The vineyards extend over a patchwork of 80 plots. 85% of them are planted with Sauvignon Blanc and 15% with Pinot Noir. This split allows the vines, planted in “Terres Blanches” marl and “Caillottes” limestone and flint soils, to express themselves to the full. The estate has been using sustainable growing methods for several years and has held Level 3 HVE (High Environmental Value) certification since 2020. The hilly terrain provides ideal conditions for the production of exceptional quality grapes. From the end of the summer, the Loire River, which borders our vineyards, envelops the grapes in its morning mists until the harvest time, which generally takes place in September. Mineral and fruity, Sancerre is one of the most well-known Loire wines, playing back all the exceptional qualities of their terroirs when tasted. Our approach, a combination of authenticity and modernity, is constantly moving towards an ever more sustainable and eco-friendly type of viticulture.
